Programs
All programs sponsored by Upper Darby Community Outreach
Corporation are non-denominational and open to all, regardless of
religion, race, ethnic origin, or gender.
After-School Program – Begun in 1997, BLAST
formerly the Peers Encouraging Peers (after-school) Program
(PEPP) serves pre-teens and teens from the densely
populated and ethnically diverse community of Upper Darby.
The primary focus of BLAST is improving academic and
social skills of youth at risk of being left home alone while
parents or caregivers work. The hours between 3 p.m.
and 6 p.m. are considered “prime time for juvenile crime.”
BLAST keeps youth safe and in a supervised environment,
with caring adults. Click here to learn more about having a BLAST After-School.
Parish Nurse Community Outreach started in 1999 in
response to neighborhood needs for healthcare support and

- PRAYER SHAWL Ministry
- Crafty Sisters join us for handwork on Thursdays from 9:00am to

Upper Darby school officials regarding the need for summer
programs to help keep children on track academically during
the summer months. The program is 5-days a week, for
8 weeks from mid-June through mid-August, and
serves 100 children and youth ages 6 through 14 each summer.
